PITAVYピタヴィ Vincentバンサン

1979年フランス生まれ。

小学生のころ、歌川国芳「太平記英勇伝」シリーズの「根来小水茶」の写真を見て衝撃を受けて以降、日本の歴史や武者絵に興味を持ち続ける。大学時代には、パリの国立東洋言語文化学院で日本語を専攻し、特に古語を専門にして学士号を取得する。その頃から浮世絵の収集をはじめる。2000年に来日し、仕事をする傍ら、東京・神保町の浮世絵専門店によく足を運び、いつしか自分も古美術商になりたいと思い、2022年に継古堂オンライン・ギャラリーを立ち上げる。

When I was in elementary school, I saw a photo of the Japanese woodblock print, "Negoro no Komizucha" from the series "Heroes of the Grand Pacification" by Utagawa Kuniyoshi, and was very impressed. Since then, I have been continuously interested in Japanese history and warrior prints. I graduated from the National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilizations in Paris, majoring in Japanese, with a specialization in ancient language. Around that time, I began collecting ukiyoe prints. I started living in Japan in 2000, and while working, often visited the ukiyoe art galleries of Jinbocho, Tokyo. Over time, I wanted to become an antique dealer someday, so I started the Keikodo online gallery in 2022.
